Fractured Flare

Description

An abstract, organic side-piece using fine black shading, scratchy linework and small red accents. The fractured vertical composition suggests a tectonic fault or torn flesh, while a small circular "flare" near the upper ribs evokes a sun or wound — symbols of rupture, transformation and resilience. Strong negative space suits the flank.
