Mobile App

When you use the Tattoos mobile app, the app displays Tattoos.com through an in-app webview and provides native app features such as navigation, loading, refresh, splash screen, external-link handling, and app menus.

Data collected through the mobile app may include the same categories described in this Privacy Policy, including usage data, device information, cookies or similar technologies used by the webview, account information if you sign in, user-submitted content, and advertising or analytics-related data where enabled.

The Tattoos mobile app provides a native app experience for accessing Tattoos.com, including native navigation, loading, refresh, splash screen, external-link handling, and app menus. The app does not request access to sensitive device features such as precise location, contacts, camera, microphone, or photo library unless a feature clearly requires it and you grant permission through your device or browser/webview controls.

Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Usage Data: IP address, pages viewed, clicks, searches, app or site interactions, referring or exit pages, and timestamps.
  • Device, Browser, and App Information: Device type, operating system, browser or webview type, language, general identifiers, and similar technical information about how you access the Services.
  • Cookies and Similar Technologies: Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies, including those used in the mobile app webview, to enable core functionality, remember preferences, analyze usage, and personalize content or advertising where enabled.

  • Social Login Information: If you choose to sign in or register using Google, Facebook, or Apple, we may receive account and profile information from that provider, such as your name, email address, profile image where available, and a provider identifier, as permitted by the provider and your settings or granted permissions.
  • Communications and Requests: Messages and details you send through contact forms, support requests, account-deletion requests, or other communications with us.
  • Location Information: Approximate location derived from your IP address or other general location signals associated with your use of the Services, where applicable.
  • User-Submitted Content: Profile information, favorites, saved items, reviews, tattoo images, uploaded media, listings, and other content or interactions you submit through the Services. Content you submit for public display, such as tattoo uploads, listings, reviews, profile information, or other public interactions, may be visible to other users or visitors once accepted, published, or otherwise made available through the Services.
  • Advertising and Analytics Data: Advertising and analytics data, cookie or identifier data, and consent signals collected by us or our partners where advertising or analytics is enabled.

Social Login Providers

If you sign in or register using Google, Facebook, or Apple, Tattoos.com may receive certain account or profile data from that provider, as permitted by the provider and your settings or granted permissions. We use that information to authenticate you, create or manage your account, link sign-in methods where available, secure your account, prevent abuse and fraud, and keep our account records accurate.

We do not use information received from Google, Facebook, or Apple for login for advertising, retargeting, or personalized ad targeting.

Google Sign-In

When you use Google Sign-In, including the standard Google redirect flow and Google Identity Services where available, we may receive your name, email address, profile image, and Google account identifier. We may store that information in our account records and use it only for authentication, account creation and management, linking sign-in methods where available, security and fraud prevention, and keeping account records accurate.

Tattoos.com's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google login data is retained and shared only as described in this Privacy Policy, including the Data Retention and Security and How We Share Information sections below.

Facebook Login

If you choose Facebook Login, we may receive basic profile and account information from Facebook, such as your name, email address, profile image, and Facebook account identifier, as permitted by Facebook and your settings or permissions. We use this information for authentication, account creation and management, linking sign-in methods where available, and security and abuse prevention.

If you want us to delete data associated with Facebook Login, you can delete your Tattoos.com account from Profile using the Delete Account section or contact us at admin@tattoos.com.

Apple Login

If you choose Sign in with Apple, we may receive your name, email address, and Apple account identifier, as permitted by Apple and your settings or granted permissions. We use this information for authentication, account creation and management, linking sign-in methods where available, security and abuse prevention, and keeping account records accurate.

Apple may allow you to hide your real email address. If you choose that option, we may receive a private relay email address ending in @privaterelay.appleid.com, and we may use that relay address the same way we use any other login email for authentication, account management, and service-related communications.

Because Apple may not provide the same profile details on every sign-in, we may retain the profile details originally provided so we can continue managing your account.

Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies for advertising and analytics on the Services, including Google AdSense where enabled. We and our partners may use cookies, local storage, browser or webview data, and similar identifiers to understand usage, measure advertising, remember preferences, and where permitted personalize ads.

Advertising and analytics partners may collect information such as IP address, browser or webview type, device information, pages viewed, and interaction data over time and across sites or apps where those tools are enabled.
