Lyle Tuttle
Flash - Order Catalog
I
met Aussie tattoo artist Gary Davis for the first time at Dunstable in 97'.
I'd had seen and admired his tattooing for a long time. He was in England
introducing his first set of flash, the best I've ever seen and I told him
so. What makes it so good, is that Gary has been a working tattoo artist for
30 years and understands the mechanics of a
good tattoo. He draws designs that are really tattooable and go on with ease.
Not complicated to the point that you have to take the sheet off the wall
and over to your work station, to just to get the tattoo close to what the
customer had picked out and payed for. Well, after his success in England,
Gary wanted to come to America and attend the Tattoo Tour in Frisco. So I
invited him to come on over and share my booth. Because his flash is classy
stuff and I knew everybody would like it. After the convention was over, he
had a few sets left over. I bought the last sets he had left, so he could
go home and start painting a new set that he'll introduce next year. Plus
he had to get home because their busy season is just starting in that part
of the world.
There are 40 colored sheets in the set, all laminated and a set of outlines
sheets for making stencils. The regular price was $400.00. This is the best
commercial flash I've ever seen. It's a whole tattoo shop in one set. He's
covered the whole gambit of tattoo designs. You name it and it's there. The
price was right at $400.00 for flash of this quality but I got a deal on these
last few sets and can offer you a complete laminated set for $300.00 (USD).
These sheets are ready to hang on the wall and start making you money. Hey,
there is 40 sheets in the set and they're good enough to run a tattoo studio
all by themselves.
