THE NORTHERN INK XPOSURE 2011 TATTOO SHOW WAS A GREAT SUCCESS!

Here are a few photos from the weekend for you to enjoy.

The "Tattoo End of Days" at NIX 2012 is a collaborative painting project that explores our obsession with the end of the world. History is filled with examples of prediction of our own demise. 2012 has been referenced by the Mayan Calendar and Nostradamus as well as many other cultures as a the pivotal point in our history that is the "Beginning of the End"

Our aim is to embrace this foolish trend that has no basis in fact and to celebrate our culture as artists by using the rich graphic history of doom and gloom to visually stimulate the mind of the viewer.

Thanks to all the staff from Tattoos.com and for all the artists that were a great help in setting up the art show and the convention itself. Special mention to Kurt Wiscombe and Alex Adams for there support with co-curating the art show opening and for George Brown and Matt Ellis from Seven Crowns Tattoo for showing up and helping set up the exhibit. We had two hours to install a huge art show and did it with the help from you guys. Thaks to all the fans that showed up for the opening and the Day of the dead girls for adding a little ambience to the whole experience. We look forward to touring the art show around to many galleries and conventions this coming year. Check out the great video coverage fr m David Diaz on this page. Can't wait to see you all next June. Will be posting new updates as new artists from around the world have already started booking their booths.
